Reach's education extends to adolescent girls, who join their mothers and mothers-in-law in savings groups, or form groups of their own. By integrating adolescent girls, groups bring the opportunity to save and learn to the next generation of women. The power of social enterprise
One billion people — one-sixth of humanity —live on less than a dollar a day. To reach as many people as possible, especially those living in rural areas, Reach Global looks for opportunities to harness private enterprise to sustain the delivery of essential services. In India, for example, Reach's franchise training network trains thousands of local organizations to deliver life changing education to hundreds of thousands of women and girls across the poorest states of east and northeast India.
