Sean Kline, Founder and Executive Director (USA)
Sean Kline provides overall management for Reach Global, as well as hands-on expertise in project design, research and evaluation, and private sector development approaches. Previously Sean directed Freedom from Hunger's Growth Initiatives Group, scaling up proven microfinance and social franchise innovations to reach more than 800,000 poor women globally across 16 countries. Prior to this, he founded and led Prizma, one of the largest microfinance institutions in Bosnia-Herzegovina now managing a portfolio of over $70 million. Sean has also led research on savings-led microfinance in rural Pakistan and consulted for a variety of development organizations across Asia and Africa. Sue Glassford, Training Director (USA)
Sue Glassford directs all training and educational design activities, including managing public health and other content specialists and instructional designers in the development of Reach Global curriculum. She also leads Reach Global's planning and knowledge management activities. Sue designed the Learning Games for Girls methodology, an innovation in non-formal education that has already engaged more than 125,000 illiterate girls. Sue previously served as Director of Training Services for Freedom from Hunger, creating the global training systems that support all of Freedom from Hunger's programs worldwide. Prior to this, she was Head of Training at the International Catholic Migration Commission.
Jacqueline Nyaga, Senior Technical Advisor (Nairobi, Kenya)
Jacqueline Nyaga is a microfinance, human resources and training specialist with over 16 years experience, including leadership roles at World Vision-Kenya and Faulu Kenya Microfinance, where she managed the rollout of financial literacy to over 40,000 participants. She is an active member of a Kenyan task force seeking to embed financial literacy within institutions across the country and has trained microfinance staffs in leadership development, change management and new business skills to support their institutions' transformation into deposit-taking entities. Jacqueline holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration and an advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management.
Taara Chandani, Senior Technical Advisor (Delhi, India)
Taara Chandani is an education and training specialist with over 10 years of experience in health sector financing and small enterprise development. Taara has worked extensively in Africa and Asia to design financial and business advisory services for healthcare organizations. Taara previously worked at Banyan Global where she served as country manager for several USAID-funded projects designed to strengthen the private health sector. In this capacity she leveraged commercial financing for small-scale health care businesses, improved their management systems and forged new market linkages and public-private partnerships. Taara has consulted with a variety of organizations including the United Nations Development Program and the Microinsurance Center. Taara is fluent in Hindi and holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Columbia University.
Jessica Massie, Senior Technical Advisor (Kigali, Rwanda)
Jessica Massie is an education specialist with over 10 years of experience in financial literacy, nonformal education and programming for adolescent girls in Guinea, Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Burundi and Malawi. In her previous role at Microfinance Opportunities, she trained over 200 trainers, and wrote and adapted education for clients of commercial banks, microfinance institutions and village savings and loan (VS&L) groups across Africa. Jessica has also held positions at the Microcredit Summit Campaign, Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity, and the National University of Rwanda. She is fluent in French and holds a master's degree from The Monterey Institute of International Studies.
Danielle Hopkins, Senior Technical Advisor (USA)
Danielle Hopkins is an education and training specialist with over 10 years of experience in strategic planning, market research, training, financial education design, and development of toolkits to support organizations' delivery of financial and other education in Latin America, Asia and Africa. Previously Danielle served as Technical Advisor and Project Manager for financial education at Microfinance Opportunities, where she developed education on remittances, home improvements and savings for adolescent girls. Additionally, she designed and delivered financial literacy and microenterprise development courses for Hispanic microentrepreneurs in the U.S. Danielle is fluent in Spanish and holds a Master's Degree in International Development from the Center for International Studies at Ohio University.
Sheila Chanani, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (Mumbai, India)
Sheila Chanani is a monitoring and evaluation specialist with over 10 years of experience in program evaluation and economic research. Sheila is the former Research Coordinator for Reach India, which included coordinating a three-year randomized control trial evaluation of Reach Global's Learning Games for Girls, and leading routine outcomes monitoring activities for the Reach India Service Center Network. Sheila has worked with SNEHA (Mumbai), BRAC University and Freedom from Hunger. Sheila is fluent in Hindi and holds a master's degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
Laurie Miller, Finance Manager (USA)
Laurie Miller is a licensed CPA with more than eleven years of experience in for- and non-profit financial systems, fund accounting, financial reporting and risk management. Laurie oversees financial records; planning and coordinating annual audit, budgeting, and financial systems; and preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for Reach Global's Executive Director, Board of Directors and funders. Previously, She served as Director of Specialized Business Audits at Charles Schwab, Senior Auditor at Deloitte & Touche, and Audit Manager of the Bank of California.

Rich Auger, Chair of the Board
Rich Auger has spent his career as a health care information technology entrepreneur. Rich was an early visionary of Reach and brings considerable experience in business startup and development. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Payment Systems Product Strategy for NaviNet, Inc. Prior to this he was the founder and director of Topline Solutions, Inc. (acquired by NaviNet in 2008) and co-founder and CEO of Health Systems Design, a public company (acquired by Perot Systems in 2000) providing eligibility and claims systems to health insurers. In addition to Reach Global, Rich serves on the board of Freedom from Hunger.
Ellen Vor der Bruegge, Vice-Chair of the Board
Ellen Vor der Bruegge brings more than thirty years of public health and microfinance experience. She was an early visionary for Reach and has provided strategic guidance, training and other support to Reach Global. As former Vice President of Innovations at Freedom from Hunger, she played a key role in the development of the Credit with Education model, an integration of microfinance services for very poor women and dialogue-based health, business and financial education. She also played a pivotal role in the development of HealthKeepers, a microfranchise network of women entrepreneurs that sells health products across rural Ghana, and currently provides training support to Living Goods' health microfranchise model in Uganda. Ellen holds a Master's Degree in Public Health. In addition to Reach Global, Ellen serves on the board of Hesperian Foundation.
Jim Kelly, Treasurer of the Board
Jim Kelly has been a senior manager in international development for more than 17 years. He has developed and managed multi-million dollar programs on four continents, included directing Catholic Relief Service's programs in Bosnia-Herzegovina and participating in founding the Bosnian microfinance institution MIKRA. Most recently he served as Vice-President of Operations for Freedom from Hunger, managing organization-wide operational functions, including finance, human resources and information technology.
Barbara Holland, Secretary of the Board
Barbara Holland brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, education and human resources management. Currently, she serves as Director of Human Resources at Landesa (formerly Rural Development Institute), which works to secure land rights for the world's poorest people. Prior to this, she served as Director of International Human Resources and Support for Grameen Foundation USA, and Director of Human Resources for Freedom from Hunger, which provided support to Reach Global affiliates in Mexico, West Africa and India.
